Children are an incredible amount of work. You don't want to do it wrong But she is your mother. Didn't you know in your mother was selfish? Why would you expect this from her without prior conversation?
Do you also expect help from the government? Because that's another space that will never deliver for you. Our education systems suck. Our health care is falling apart. Having children today is perilous.
Your kids will have it even harder than you did. Do you plan on helping them. If not you should let them know so they don't have children without first building a support network.
