I believe we are all suffering from the same thing. It's being creative in a world that hates and devalues creatives. But I don't want to invite narcissists into my world. I have had plenty of time with them and it was more than enough.

One bad apple spoils the whole bunch is very real. Because one narcissist can turn the tide to selfishness for all those less intelligent than them.

There most intelligent are too sensitive to be narcissists. They may apear like them at times, because they have experience the similar trauma of being an outcast.

But they are not. They are just hurt and trying to protect themselves.

You can always tell the difference with this one simple trick. You give them a present. If they give you one in return and it is thoughtful and considerate and about you, they see you. Narcissists never see you. They expect you to see them.

To this day I have never received a present from a narcissist that was about me. It was always about what they thought I should be.
