Studies have shown boys are more sensitive than girls when young.
My son is an adult now. I learned the most amazing lesson raising him. One that made me a much better parent for him and his little sisters. It took me to long to realize he was born perfect. That he never needed to change, I did.
When I finally got this memo, clearly. I stopped making him to be what our screwed up system said he needed to be. I put that energy into myself. I grew and change and became the person he needed me to be. After that everything was easy.
Children, even the most neurodivergent and sensitive ones, are pretty easy to raise. (Disclaimer: I am NOT talking about those who need help with functioning, that is a different story).
Children (sensitive or not) are easy to raise if you do not allow the system to make them into a slave for it. Focusing instead on how they work and how to serve themselves first so they can then serve others (deserving of the service).
The most sensitive really need to be taught to serve themselves. The rest need to be taught to serve others. Somehow we lost this lesson and teach everyone to only serve the system. Which puts the selfish at an advantage. Likely leading to an increase in people being selfish.
By becoming parents (spouse did it as well) who adjusted to accommodate the sensitivity of our children we created a beautiful, healthy, peaceful, family and home.
Our children do not fight with us or each other. Everyone is reasonable. We make sure their individual needs are met. We homeschool one and send the other kids to school because that is what they needed. There is no one size that fits all. There is no competion, because there is no induced scarcity.
If you want to have children who grow up well prepare for anything in life you must be one to grow. They are going to do that now matter what you do. You are just teaching them to grow with you and not towards or away. This is an investment that will payoff for lifetimes.
