Teachers should not be teaching 2e chidren. They do not understand the degree of outliers they are educating and most teachers are to simple minded to see it. So all they do is incredible damage to these extraordinarily gifted students. I say this because our schools systems actually cost me my genius. I was not able to find it until I left it. My brain possesses unified intelligence and the degree I have it is so high it is a form of genius. In the education systems I was made to constantly work on and in my weaknesses. This made me chronically ill as a child.
My teachers worked against me every second of my life.
They meant well but all they did was give me horrible advice that worked against how I worked. Because they were educated to condition not educate. This destroys the sensitive and those are your smartest kids. That is the goal of education.
Teachers are taught to condition average and break the brilliant.
Reading this article all I see is a slightly above average person, unable to see and serve more intelligent children.
The smartest people are not teachers. They are destroyed by teachers. You will find this offensive and I apologize but this the reality of the outliers, the 2e.
We have set up a system that destroys the Profoundly Gifted in order to maintain order and control.
I have 3 children who are prodigies and their teachers were so focused on them not being normal and in their extreme gifts that they were making their peers feel less than they held them back every chance they could.
That damages and destroys genius.
Luckily I could pull my kids out and correct this. I did not get this in my childhood.
Average is the ideal in the systems. It is the that mentality that causes our teachers to be blind to real brilliance and how to educate it.
A child who has writers block is struggling with higher intelligence and the higher ability to mental model. Everything you propose has been proposed to me and it did not work. It just made my life harder and more frustrating. You can't see these students and you are doing them harm.
Any teacher who can't see this is not smart enough to educate that child and should advocate to get this child better teachers who understands them.
The systems are run by average and think they are the ideal. There is no ideal and this fallacy destroys.
Our systems dumb us down. They pathologize all those who are able to see the complexities of the world.
It is time for the 2e and the very somatically gifted to get an education that uses their higher intelligence for their benefit not against them.
We need our geniuses now more than ever. If you don't believe me I don't care. You will shortly when the shit hits the fan and the only people who know what to do are those you declared as broken.
