Why is it uncomfortable?
I think it is fascinating. I think our society has dumbed us all down and quite possibly kept us from achieving this level of technology much sooner. After all we can't seem to keep a society around permanently. Yet the hunters and gathers are still around functioning just fine.
Hierarchy is not natural. We repress the most brilliant in them. Forcing them to conform to average and use only the smallest portion of their intelligence.
You have fear because youe intelligence can't see the whole picture.
You lack the ability to see the patterns ahiw t they are not attacking. They are simply visiting the people zoo.
Probably to show their kids on how heirachy destroys potential.
